About Birmingham & The Surrounding Area
Most guests are staying in hotels and homes located in Birmingham, Michigan - a quaint and walkable downtown with plenty of local shops and restaurants to enjoy (see our favorites under Recommendations!).
Birmingham is a 10 minute drive from Bloomfield Hills and St. Hugo of the Hills where our ceremony will take place.
Bloomfield Hills is also home to the Cranbrook Educational Campus, which includes the Cranbrook House & Gardens, Art Academy, Art Museum, Science Museum, and Saarinen House. This is a great place to spend time exploring on a sunny or rainy day! Tours of this special campus and the areas listed here are bookable online.

Wedding Day Transportation
We are so excited to share the beauty of the Detroit Institute of Arts (DIA) with you all as we celebrate on Saturday night. The DIA is located 25 minutes from our ceremony at St. Hugo of the Hills.
Transportation will be provided for all guests departing from The Townsend Hotel in Downtown Birmingham beginning at 3:15pm. Following Mass, shuttles will take guests to the DIA and back to The Townsend Hotel toward the end of the night. Note, shuttles will not be returning to Birmingham between the ceremony and reception.
Valet parking will also be available for those who wish to drive themselves.

Dressing (& Packing!) For The Weekend
Our welcome party is at The Clancy Room, which is directly attached to The Townsend Hotel. The dress code is Cocktail Attire and begins at 8:30pm. However, we recognize that many guests are traveling in on Friday evening, so please feel free to stop by to say hello and cheers even if fresh from the airport!
The dress code for our wedding is Black Tie. We ask men to wear a tuxedo or a dark suit and tie and women to wear floor length gowns.
